The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch

Lecture

- When you screwed it up, and nobody say anything to you anymore, that mean they gave up. (not care you anymore)

- Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you want.

- There is "Brick wall" stops someone who don't want it badly enough
(it separates ones who just want it, and who really really want it.)

- When you pissed of somebody, and you're angry at them, you just have given them not enough time.

- You obviously don't know where the bar should be, and you only gonna do that disservice by putting them anywhere.

- People perceive you are so elegant, because it's going to limit what you're going to accomplish in life. (another way to tell that you're a Jerk)

- Go get a PhD, Become a professor. Because, you're such a good salesman, any company who gets you will gonna use you as salesman, and you might as well selling something worthwhile as an education.

- When you give a presentation , Please telling them about having FUN, 'cause i remember you for.

- You have to decide whether your Trigger/Eeyore. (Fun / Sad)

- Never Lose the child-like wonder.

- all young lady should hear this, When it's come to men that romantic feeling in you, just ignore everything they say, but just pay attention in everything what they do.

- How to Get People to Help you
- you can't get there alone, and I believe in Karma (pay back)
- Tell the truth
- Be earnest (need long term)
- Apologize when you screw up
- Focus on others, not yourself

- Don't bail; the best gold is at the bottom of barrels of crap

- Get a feedback loop; LISTEN to it.

- Don't complain; just work harder

- Important Advice
- Be good at something: it makes you valuable
- Work hard ... "what's your secret?" (call me on Friday night at 10 in my office, i'll tell you)
- Find the best in everybody (good side);
no matter how you have to wait for them to show it
- Be prepared : "LUCK" is where preparation meets opportunity

- It's not about your dream, it's how to lead your life.
If you lead your life right way, the karma will take of itself, the dream will come to you.
