This tools provides BIOS information + editing directly from command line.
Installation:
sudo apt-get install libsmbios2
Available Commands:
smbios-get-ut-data smbios-lcd-brightness smbios-passwd smbios-rbu-bios-update smbios-state-byte-ctl smbios-sys-info smbios-sys-info-lite smbios-token-ctl smbios-upflag-ctl smbios-wakeup-ctl smbios-wireless-ctl
and they need "sudo" for issuing the commands.
